Who runs Unmask?

Kindi Ltd operates Unmask Games and is responsible for your personal data. For privacy requests, contact admin@kindiai.co.uk.

What we use

Your account uses an email address, any chosen account name, and sign-in and session information. Player Career Manager 27 saves your account identifier, fictional footballer, settings, decisions and career progress. Hosting and security services also process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs.

You do not need to provide your real name, ethnicity, address or payment details to play. Optional character background describes your fictional footballer. Please do not enter sensitive personal information.

Why we use it

We use account and career information to provide the game service you request. This processing is necessary to perform that service contract. We also process technical information for our legitimate interests in protecting accounts, preventing misuse and fixing faults. Optional statistics and feedback have separate consent controls. Character background is not used for advertising or decisions about you outside the game.

Services involved

Clerk handles sign-in, verification, recovery and account management. Supabase stores football careers and runs the career service; the project's database is in London. Vercel hosts Unmask and checks sessions on protected game pages. Passwords are handled by Clerk, not stored in the career database.

These providers may process information outside the UK through their infrastructure and support operations. Their published policies explain their processing and international-transfer arrangements: Clerk, Supabase and Vercel. Contact Kindi Ltd for information about the arrangements applicable to your data.

The game's social feed, replies and reports are fictional. They are not posted to X or sent to real clubs or other players.

Cookies and statistics

Necessary session cookies keep you signed in. The football game adds no advertising or optional analytics. Other games retain their existing optional statistics and feedback controls: read the games statistics notice. Creating an account does not enable optional statistics.

Retention and deletion

Your career remains until you delete it or your account; this release has no automatic inactivity expiry. Account settings let you download your football career, delete it, or delete your account. Account deletion sends a signed notification to remove the associated career. Provider outages can delay that notification; contact us if deletion appears incomplete.

Technical logs and provider backup copies can remain for the providers' applicable retention periods. The free career database has no automatic backup service, and may pause after inactivity; saved progress is not a guaranteed backup. Keep a career download if you want your own copy. Existing optional game statistics and feedback retain their separate 180-day policy.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw optional statistics consent through the game's privacy controls. We may check account ownership to protect your data when handling a request. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Young players and content

Kids mode hides abusive wording. Normal mode requires a 16-or-over confirmation and a separate warning before revealing abusive posts. This confirmation does not verify age. Discrimination storylines are optional and off by default; changing these settings does not reduce football ability or career opportunities.

Changes

We will update the date on this notice when it changes. We will explain material changes in data use before applying them; a revised notice is not consent to new optional processing.
